SOOO, I was updating some links and information on each of the sites that I participate in today and LOOK! I made the Featured Artist List on the Front Page of ArtistSites.org! This is a wonderful site with over 2800 participating artists and over 4000 galleries participating. You can find a link in my Favorite Artists Links on the right hand side of my blog! Thank you ArtistSites.org for recognizing me and featuring my work.
My very talented and kind friend Ms. Flora of Bone Head Studios has given me the "You Make My Day Award". Well maybe not hopping, and actually her name is Harriet, but you get the general idea :). Floppy Eared Harriet is an 11 inch bust and she is so sweet with her darling expression, big blue eyes and glitter dusted collar. Harriet has a starting auction price of only $19.99 on EBAY, so come by and check her out, she will be up this evening. Also, please check out my ETSY Store (links are on the right hand side of this page), I have lots of fun Easter and Easterween offerings.
ALSO!!!Be sure to sign up here (again, the link is on the right hand side) for my mailing list. I am very pleased to announce that my work was juried, and I have been invited to join a very talented group of artists called PFATT Marketplace. I will be there starting on April the 10th. For ONLY those of you on my mailing list :), I will be offering free shipping on any PFATT Marketplace purchases for the months of April and May :).
I had mentioned in my last post that I was developing a OOAK miniature line showcasing some of my more popular characters. I have posted two 7" Kitty Cats (they are jointed nodder ornies!) with very cute outfits and Mini Easter Bunckets. Best of all, these OOAK ornies have an opening bid of $9.99. Go ahead an leave me some feedback! I would love to know what you think about the new line I am considering releasing.
Hello! Can ya'll believe that it is March already! The year is slipping by so quickly! Well, as promised, the talented EBAY artists groups, HA31 and UHAT are gearing up for Easterween week. Search for Easterween or by either of the group call letters/numbers and your sure to find some very unique offerings. I have included my submission here. I am calling him "Bunnicula" at the suggestion of my 6 year old :). Well done Punkin' :)!
In addition, I have taken a wonderful suggestion from a very special client, and decided to develop a line of ornies that will be miniatures of some of my more popular pieces. They will still OOAK pieces, but the price points will be a bit more affordable than some of my larger more intricate pieces.
In addition, come by and check out my website at www.punkindoodleboofolkart.com. I have posted some pieces that are advertised (ON THE CURRENT ART 4 SALE PAGE) at WEBSITE ONLY PRICING. By saving on EBAY/ETSY costs, I can offer the pieces to you at a lower cost AND, best of all, the price includes FREE SHIPPING AND HANDLING!
Finally, please be sure to sign up for my MAILING LIST in the right hand column. I have some wonderful promotions (this upcoming Spring) for those who are on my email list. I will be doing a GIVEAWAY later this Spring and will be choosing a winner from those on my mailing list, more details will follow soon! So be sure to sign up, it is super easy!
I am Katie of Punkin Doodle Boo and I live in the beautiful state of Colorado with my handsome husband of 12 years and my two beautiful children. I, like my work, have a unique (and sometimes strange) sense of style and humor. I am not a classically trained artist, other than some creative development classes during my senior year of high school.
I have done it all, ink, pencil, oils, pastels and clay. However, I love the kinesthetic input that comes from sculpting and clay. I love the work of Christo and Peter Max, and for awhile I did wild pieces out of recycled doors with heavy duty plastic stretched across it!
My work is all hand sculpted, one of a kind pieces, artist signed, dated and marked 1 of 1. However, if you see something that strikes you, something you cannot live without, I do do commissioned pieces that will be uniquely crafted for you. I hope you enjoy what you see, and that my sense of whimsy and play makes you smile!
